MAVIQ combines modern and enhanced requirements with a target-oriented client assessment and modern workplace management. The security and monitoring of end devices via the integrated Microsoft Defender as well as the hardware and software inventory are the main three features of MAVIQ.
Intelligent monitoring and reporting of Microsoft Defender client activity forms the basis of these features which has previously been lacing for clients and users of Microsoft antivirus solutions. MAVIQ provides a clever agent and generates security-related information about virus protection, critical activity, the health status of the end device as well as the validity of security information and much more.
The Windows Information Portfolio (WIP) of MAVIQ is complemented by a vast hardware and software inventory.
In summary, the current inventory information is displayed in the dashboard and can be connected to additional systems or generates a report if required thanks to a modern interface.
Modules
We have set ourselves the goal of sending all urgent and critical alerts directly to the IT person responsible in order to initiate the necessary measures to resolve the issue on the end devices. Microsoft Defender is configured and used based on the customer guidelines. The MAVIQ agent is generally rolled out and runs in the background on Windows clients. The customer always determines the configuration and information retrieved. This flexibility guarantees the product’s customisability.
The managed end device hardware as defined by the customer as well as the software installed and run is inventoried in the central dashboard. Information is updated via the MAVIQ agent and the inventory updated daily upon connection to the portal. Simple search requests and filters allow creation of comprehensive reports which can be prepared in common formats. This allows you to receive important information centrally from one solution.
NEW: Local Administrator Password Configuration
Modern and centrally managed Windows 11 workstations are usually delivered to the users with a minimal set of system authorizations, so that the user has no way of installing system settings or individual software. This means that he has no administrator rights on the computer system. That is usually a good thing!
Nevertheless, there are exceptions and needs of individual users who do not need an IT system administrator to install software on their own computer systems. To do this, it requires appropriate authorizations on the system or remote support from the internal IT department.
In this case, MAVIQ can provide support with Local Administrator Password Configuration (LAPCo) and provide the registered device and exclusively to the user with a personal local password in order to carry out temporary installations on their own device without the interaction of the IT administrator.
With Local Administrator Password Configuration, MAVIQ enables the management of local account passwords for modern workstations under Windows 11 that have joined or registered in a domain. The passwords of the local accounts are saved and protected in MAVIQ (Microsoft Azure) so that only authorized Azure users can read them from the MAVIQ portal. The passwords are randomly assigned per system over a certain period of time. After the required process, these are renewed again on the systems managed with MAVIQ.
Access and authorizations to the password information can be regulated; in addition to the administrator, the selected users only have access to the passwords of their own end devices for online query.

Standard product support has no guaranteed response times. We handle support requests based on best effort. Support requests are generally handled by the next business day at the latest. Guaranteed response times are subject to cost and are managed via an SLA (SLA = service-level agreement that is a commitment on the part of the service provider to respond to support requests within a time period defined by the customer).
